At Newquay Junior Academy we are committed to online safety and providing our pupils with a valuable knowledge and understanding regarding how to be safe in this new Electronic World’. We follow an online safety scheme of work that delivers age appropriate online safety lessons every half term to all year groups. Along side this we also have assemblies dedicated to this subject area.
Information that we have sent home to parents regarding social networking sites are listed below along with some up to date information on how to keep your child safe online and use technology safely. If you have any questions regarding keeping your child safe on the Internet do not hesitate to contact the school, Mrs. Eglinton will also be available in the ICT suite on Mondays between 4&5 p.m. to answer any questions you may have regarding online safety related issues.
