Our school uniform helps create a sense of belonging and pride in our school community. We expect all learners to wear the correct uniform each day and we aim to keep it simple, comfortable, and affordable for families.

Main school uniform:

• Black academy badged v neck sweater/cardigan
• White cotton, long or short sleeved, buttoned shirt or blouse
• Black tailored trousers or shorts (not tight, lycra or denim)
• Black skirt (knee length)
• Black tights (no leggings)
• Black socks
• School tie (black and gold)
• Plain black shoes – no boots which exceed ankle height (Trainers, trainer type shoes, canvas shoes are allowed)
• Yellow and White Gingham dress (summer term only)

PE kit:

• Black academy badged t-shirt and/or hoodie.  
• Black shorts (football/rugby style) 
• Black cycling shorts (mid-thigh length) 
• Black leggings or tracksuit bottoms (autumn term) 
• Trainers (no high tops) 
• Headbands should be worn (or hair fastened back) by boys and girls who have long hair in PE 

Jewellery and accessories

• children should not wear jewellery to school; children who have their ears pierced should wear a pair of small studs that can be removed by the child (or adult at home) for PE days
• children may wear a watch to school; we encourage the use of analogue watches to practice the skill of telling the time, but if digital watches are worn, they should have no additional features or functionality (e.g. messaging, calling, photography, gaming)
• smart watches are not allowed in school

Most of our school uniform can be purchased (without logos) from local supermarkets. Items branded with the school logo (e.g. jumper, t-shirt), these can be purchased from Macron.

We also hold regular ‘pre-loved’ uniform sales after school and at school events. Please contact the school office to find out when the next event is, or to enquire about the availability of certain items.
