We believe that our broad and balanced curriculum will instill a love of languages in our children that will make them curious about other countries and cultures around the world.

Our aim is that our children will listen attentively to spoken language and show understanding by joining in and responding. High quality Spanish lessons will allow our children explore the patterns and sounds of language through songs and rhymes and link the spelling, sound and meaning of words.

Our curriculum is designed so that children can appreciate stories, songs, poems, and rhymes in Spanish, which will broaden their understanding of vocabulary and develop their ability to understand new words that are introduced.

As language detectives, our children will investigate key features and patterns of the language; and explore how these differ from or are similar to English.
